Good moments

• After a merger, where two hierarchies meet in the same working day.
• Before a strategy, so you know what the strategy is up against.
• When decisions get retaken in another unit.
• When new employees do something other than what they were told.

Bad moments

• In the middle of redundancies. The answers become about something else.
• If the result is not allowed to lead to any change.
• If leadership will not lock its guess first.

We decline work where the measurement is clearly meant to confirm a decision that has already been made.
